Also called “ramp staircases”, open staircases have an exposed support structure, located under the staircase itself. These types of staircases feature a single beam, double central beam, or modular central structure. These can also be supported on the sides with a modular double lateral band.
In most cases these risers are made of metal, with iron or stainless steel load-bearing structures. To ensure optimal capacity, they are built and sized according to the individual height and width of the ramps. We pre-assemble the entire system in the factory workshop before bringing it to the site installation.

The metal structure is painted with baked epoxy powder coatings in various colors: RAL colors or mica-iron composites. The latter is an opaque color ranging from “pure” gray tones to more subtle shades, such as blue or green tinted gray.

It can be circular (100 to 300 cm in diameter), square or rectangular, and have a straight or helical rise. There are no standard features that define custom staircases: the load-bearing structure can be completely original, without necessarily falling within the standard types (cantilevered staircase, open staircase, spiral staircase).
